I purchased these gloves after looking for a long time for a pair of rabbit fur-lined gloves to replace those I have worn out. I was hesitant to buy gloves online, as I wanted to try them on and study the craftsmanship in person. But, based on other reviews, I purchased these and I am thrilled with my new gloves! They are well-made, the leather is soft and supple, and they are wonderfully warm. This was the best price I have seen on fur-lined leather gloves. I don't believe you will be disappointed with this purchase. They are lovely.

I am disappointed in the quality of the fur-lined black leather gloves. I've worn them only about a month, and the stitching along the hem of the wrist of each glove has come undone. Also, inside some of the fingers of the gloves, I can feel what seems like pointed and hard edges. It must be the edges of the rabbit pelt lining that was not securely fastened to the leather outer glove. Also, the fingers are bulky and the thumbs are too long, though I ordered the same size I always wear. I would not buy this brand of glove again.

I have a terrible habit of losing gloves, but hope to have these for a long time! I had a previous Fownes pair that I adored, but when I had to replace them, I had a hard time finding just the right pair at the right price. Leather with cashmere lining is fine most of the time, but we've had a cold winter and I needed more. These gloves were a great replacement. For the reviews saying they were stiff - most leather is stiff initially, including calfskin, you just have to wear them a few times - and for those who don't like the shedding ... this would occur whether it was real or faux. I have fur trim on a coat that sheds a little, and for these to shed is not a problem. A clothes brush or a little tape, sticky-side out, is all you need. I don't have complaints on either of these grounds, and in fact don't have complaints at all! I paid less for these than I would for them in most retail situations, they're exactly as advertised and shown, the quality is the same as what I remember, and they were mailed amazingly fast! My five stars here are no exaggeration. I hope I don't lose them, but if I do, I'll come right back and get another great pair!

These gloves are the only ones that can keep up with a Canadian winter. I wore out my last pair and was delighted to find them again. The craftsmanship is first rate and the warmth is heavenly. I highly recommend these gloves. The fact that this company ships at lightening speed is a plus as well.
